Adrian Peterson, retired NFL running back, has been in the news for the last couple of days after he was seen getting into a fistfight with another poker player in a club in Houston. The video clip, which has now gone viral, was released by TMZ Sports, which stated that the incident actually took place last month.
Peterson reportedly got pissed over a hand in a game of poker with the unidentified person. The two men can be seen throwing punches at each other, as several try to stop the brawl. It looks like security tried to stop the fight as well, but Peterson seemed too intent on doing some damage and the guard had to step back.

Adrian Peterson has been awfully quiet after his retirement from the National Football League. The running back last played for the Seattle Seahawks and was crowned MVP in the 2012 seson, when he was playing for the Minnesota Vikings.
Adrian Peterson Reveals It Was A Friendly Fight
Adrian Peterson was asked about the fight at the poker club after the incident concluded, and the retired NFL running back cleared the air that everything between him and the other person involved in the fight is all cool. Peterson explained that he and the other poker players are all close friends and that a friendly argument simply escalated into a fist-fight.
“Me and the guy, we’re cool. We’ve known each other. It was literally like a brother situation. We agreed to disagree, we had our words, and we threw blows – and that was it.” Adrian Peterson explained after the fight concluded.
It looks like Adrian Peterson’s wife, Ashley Peterson, is also ‘cool’ with his fistfight incident which took place exactly on May 27th. Hardly a couple of weeks after the fight in which her husband was involved, Ashley Peterson shared a couple of pictures of their whole family, which might have been taken last Christmas. The color of the day was definitely green and the former NFL MVP himself looked impressive in a green velvet blazer and black slacks, while his wife wore a green sequined off-shoulder floor-length dress.
