The Detroit Lions are experiencing success that their franchise hasn’t seen in decades. Not only have they won the NFC North in back-to-back years, but they have won 12 and 15 games in back-to-back seasons.
They have multiple superstars who have contributed to this recent success. However, one of them is going to be rocking a new look in 2025.
BREAKING: Lions Superstar Unexpectedly Changes Jersey Number
Lions announced on Thursday afternoon that 14 players would be changing their jersey numbers, including wide receiver Jahymr Gibbs, cornerback Terrion Arnold, and star wide receiver Jameson Williams:

That’s right, star running back Jahmyr Gibbs will be rocking the number 0 going forward.
As the 12th overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft, Gibbs was selected by the Detroit Lions in the first round.
Gibbs and Montgomery formed a “two-headed monster” in his rookie season, according to Lions head coach Dan Campbell. “Sonic” and “Knuckles” are nicknames given to the two characters from Sonic the Hedgehog video games. Gibbs, dubbed “Sonic” because of his speed, and Montgomery, known as “Knuckles” because of his strength.
