The Dallas Cowboys are signing a two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle before the start of the 2024 regular season. In recent days, the Cowboys have made a couple of much-needed additions to the defensive line.
The Dallas Cowboys add needed help to the D-Line

On Monday, the Cowboys officially announced they signed defensive end Carl Lawson. Lawson, a former fourth-round pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2017, has 27 career sacks. The Cowboys needed to add defensive end help after losing Sam Williams for the season due to an ACL tear in training camp.
The Cowboys have been impressed with second-round pick Marshawn Kneeland in training camp, but they need experience early in the season.
On Wednesday, the Cowboys signed a player at a position Micah Parsons has wanted the front office to address since training camp.
The Cowboys are signing Linval Joseph

According to NFL insider Josina Anderson, the Cowboys are signing defensive tackle Linval Joseph. At 35, Joesph brings another veteran element to first-year defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer’s defense.
The six-foot-four, 329-pound defensive lineman can still produce. He appeared in seven games with the Buffalo Bills last season.
Joseph was a member of the New York Giants team that won Super Bowl XLVI. He was on the Philadelphia Eagles team that made it to Super Bowl LVII.
Joseph has been approved in 186 games in his NFL and started in 170. He’s recorded 676 total tackles, 57 tackles for loss, and 26.5 sacks. Per Pro Football Focus, he made six pressures, four hurries, and one sack in 87 pass-rushing attempts for the Buffalo Bills last season.
