The New York Giants will be a team to potentially watch for during the 2025 NFL season because of rookie edge rusher Abdul Carter. He was the third overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft from the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Carter was very dominate in games for Penn State during the 2024 NFL season. His dominance is continuing to show during training camp for the Giants. There is a chance that New York could potentially have a Top 5 defense in 2025. Is there a chance that the Giants could make other moves to the defense before the start of the 2025 NFL season?
New York Giants Fans Explode Over Micah Parsons Twitter Post About Abdul Carter After Contract Negotiation Issues With the Dallas Cowboys
On Friday morning, there were reports about the Dallas Cowboys and Micah Parsons being far off in contract extension talks. This could potentially lead to Parsons requesting a trade. Well, on Friday on Twitter, Giants fans found an old tweet of Parson that resurfaced, and the Tweet said,
“It’s only right the NFL lets me and Abdul play together!!”
Parsons mentioned this because Carter also played for Penn State like Parsons did. Well, it would be wild if Parsons was actually traded to the Giants and played with Carter and there is probably no chance that would happen. Brian Burns, Dexter Lawrence, and Carter would be off limits in trade talks. Kayvon Thibodeaux would be the one player on New York’s roster to potentially be traded away.
Well, Giants fans reacted on Friday to the resurfaced tweet about Parsons wanting to play together with Carter in the NFL. Some New York fans on Twitter said:

If Parsons wanted to play anywhere, he probably wants to play for the Philadelphia Eagles since he is from the state of Pennsylvania. It is probably his dream to play for the Eagles and get back at Jerry Jones and the Cowboys about what is going on right now. It is questionable if Parsons even wants to stay in Dallas for the long-term.
Giants fans can only dream about having Parsons and Carter on the same team. The only chance of that happening is if New York fans play madden and they want to trade for Parsons and have him team up with Carter. That would be a nightmare scenario if that ever happened.
