Patrick Mahomes has his eyes set on something much higher than just winning another championship with the Kansas City Chiefs, as per LeSean McCoy, former running back for the Philadelphia Eagles. On Thursday’s episode of ‘The Facility’, McCoy spoke about what he thinks Mahomes aims to achieve as his personal legacy.
According to McCoy, Patrick Mahomes is aiming to be like, or be better than, none other than Tom Brady. Brady managed to win Super Bowls in total, six for the New England Patriots, and one for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With the energy that Mahomes is showing on the field, he seems to want to do more than what Brady did in his career.
“Pat (Mahomes), bro, three-peat’s never been done. The great of the greatest of all time. Tom Brady does everything first, not this time around, but Pat is not playing against Josh. He’s not playing against Jalen Hurts. He’s not playing against Joe Burrow, not playing against Lamar Jackson. He’s playing against Tom Brady. I’m chasing you, Tom. No quarterback ever said he was chasing Tom Brady, but Pat can.” LeSean McCoy said on ‘The Facility’.

After winning against the Houston Texans in the NFL Divisional Round, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are on their way to play against the Buffalo Bills for the NFL Conference Championships. If they do win this one, they will proceed to the Super Bowl. In the game against the Texans, Mahomes went for 177 yards, completing 16 passes out of 25 attempts, scoring once.

Patrick Mahomes Admits That He Did Wrong In The Game Against Houston Texans
In the game against the Houston Texans, Patrick Mahomes caused a penalty for the Houston Texans after purposely slowing down and getting pushed out of the way. Many NFL fans called out Mahomes for his actions, and also the NFL officials for favoring the Kansas City Chiefs.

However, it looks like Mahomes knew exactly what he was doing. When he spoke to reporters after the game, Mahomes said that he should not have done what he did. Some went on to compare his actions to those of soccer players who do something similar on the field to warrant a yellow card.

Regardless of it all, Patrick Mahomes managed to score a solo touchdown for the team in that game, while Kareem Hunt and Travis Kelce also scored one each. Pat Mahomes and the rest of the Chiefs are gearing up for their next matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
