The Jacksonville Jaguars finished with a 4-13 record during the 2024 NFL season. Jacksonville has a new fresh start with Doug Pederson and Trent Baalke out of the building.

Liam Coen is the new head coach and James Gladstone is the new general manager. Coen was the offensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the 2024 NFL season, and he did wonders with quarterback Baker Mayfield. Coen is looking to fix up quarterback Trevor Lawrence in 2025 and get Jacksonville back to the playoffs.
Worst Case Scenario For the Jacksonville Jaguars Is Quarterback Trevor Lawrence Struggling Once Again

“Coen proves out of his league as a head coach, Hunter struggles to translate his two-way gifts to the NFL stage, and Lawrence still can’t control the rock as Jacksonville remains an offensive laughingstock.”
If Lawrence struggles again in 2025, the Jaguars could look to move off of him, but no team may want to take on his current contract. Jacksonville maybe stuck with him for the next several years, and they need to make this relationship work.
He is only 25 years old. Lawrence was the number one overall pick by Jacksonville in the 2021 NFL Draft from the Clemson Tigers. During the 2024 NFL season, Lawrence completed 60.6% of his passes for 2,045 yards, 11 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. He will need to show better results in 2025.
Having a wide receiver core of Travis Hunter and Brian Thomas Jr. should help Lawrence in 2025. If Hunter performs well in 2025, then that means that the former Clemson quarterback is having better results. If Lawrence has a good year, then Jacksonville will be knocking on the door for a postseason berth. If not, then the first-round pick that the Jaguars traded away to the Cleveland Browns in the 2026 NFL Draft could be very high.
