The Las Vegas Raiders did not perform to expectations on Sunday after getting blown out by the Carolina Panthers. The offense could not get anything going for the entire game while Carolina piled on the points led by new starting quarterback Andy Dalton. Raiders fans are already calling for the head coach, Antonio Pierce, to be fired after a horrible game for all sides of the ball for Las Vegas.
Las Vegas Raiders Fans Call for Head Coach to be Fired
Many fans on social media are calling for Pierce to be fired after getting blown out by the Panthers, who are viewed as one of the worst teams in NFL history. Here are some of the reactions from Twitter:

Pierce quit in the 3rd quarter, the team followed after that! This team will not get my support until some change is made! Getsy should be fired, Pierce is now on the hot seat!

Fans are also calling for offensive coordinator to be fired after horrific play calling. The final score ended in 36-22 in favor of Carolina, something no one saw coming, especially after Las Vegas’ huge win against the Baltimore Ravens last week.
Antonio Pierce
Pierce was chosen to become the team’s permanent head coach last season after intervening last season after they fired Josh McDaniels. The Raiders’ players unanimously chose Pierce to be their head coach because he was a good fit for their culture. Fans put their belief in the head coach after handily defeating the Kansas City Chiefs last season despite being huge underdogs, and it set the tone for how things would be going forward. Now, it seems that can be in jeopardy.
Do you think the Raiders should fire Pierce, or are fans overreacting to the loss?
