Las Vegas Raiders to sign former Buffalo Bills safety
The Las Vegas Raiders are looking to fortify their defense next season and are about to add the services of a former Buffalo Bills safety. The Raiders are having a major overhaul in Josh Mcdaniels’ second season with the Raiders. The Raiders added wide receiver Jakobi Meyers to help new quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo next season. They added to the defense Monday.
According to Adam Schefter with ESPN, the Raiders are adding former Bills safety Jaquan Johnson to the roster on a one-year contract.

Johnson is a former 2019 sixth-round pick by the Bills. He earned a 51.1 overall grade by Pro Football Focus last season. Johnson played his most snaps last season, totaling 227 plays for the Bills’ defense. Johnson has 25 solo tackles, three stops, and two interceptions in his NFL career. Sixteen of those tackles and one interception came in 2022.
