Former Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Randy Moss is one of the greatest players in NFL history. A Pro Football Hall of Famer, Moss spent two of his 14 seasons with the Raiders franchise. Of course, he is best known for his years with the Minnesota Vikings and his three dominating seasons with the New England Patriots.
Throughout his storied career in the NFL, Moss accomplished just about everything there is to accomplish as a wide receiver. He won Offensive Rookie of the Year in 1998 while also leading the NFL in touchdown receptions, finishing third in MVP voting, and being named a First Team All-Pro (and making his first career Pro Bowl).
Moss would go on to lead the NFL in touchdown receptions four more times. He finished his storied career with 15,292 receiving yards, the fourth most in league history. His 156 receiving touchdowns are second all-time behind only the great Jerry Rice.
There is one thing, though, that Moss never got during his career: a Super Bowl ring.
Former Las Vegas Raiders Wide Receiver Randy Moss Wants Davante Adams to Go Get His Ring
Current Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams could very well as a Pro Football Hall of Famer himself someday. Like Moss, he has put up ridiculous regular season numbers and is already considered one of the best catchers in the history of the Green Bay Packers, his former team.
Also like Moss, though, he has not won a Super Bowl yet in his career. While it is too late for Moss, Adams still has a number of years left in the tank. The Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver did not mince words about Adams’ situation in a recent interview with Kay Adams:
“Go back with YOUR quarterback”

“I really do not see why he should not chase a ring,” Moss said in response to a question from Kay Adams regarding whether or not Davante should leave Las Vegas for a better team.
“He’s made his money, he’s made enough money, I won’t say he’s made all of his money. He’s made enough money, so for him to chase a ring, I mean, I chased one.”
A little bit later, Moss added, “My advice to him is just keep being yourself man and go get a ring.”
Adams asked Moss if going to chase a ring meant leaving the Raiders. He responded, “The Raiders are in the same division as the Kansas City Chiefs, I don’t see a ring in their near future, so if he has to chase a ring and get out of there, what would he look like back with Aaron Rodgers?”
He later stated he would love to see the two reunite in New York.
Will the Las Vegas Raiders Trade Davante Adams?
The short answer to the question of whether or not Las Vegas will trade Adams yet this summer is a resounding “no.” The Raiders have made no indication that they are even remotely interested in even listening to potential trade packages for the All-Pro wide receiver.
Despite the trade rumors, Adams’ agents have recently said that the star wideout is not seeking a trade.
Things could change at the NFL trade deadline, but it seems like the only way that Adams and Rodgers will be reunited any time soon is if the Jets decide to move on from the future Hall of Fame quarterback and he joins his old number one target in the desert.
