Las Vegas Raiders star pass rusher Maxx Crosby isn’t just all about football. He’s also someone who enjoys following basketball, particularly the NBA. Given his stature, it’s also not surprising to learn that he’s friends with some of the stars in the NBA, including none other than former NBA Most Valuable Player James Harden of the Los Angeles Clippers.
When Crosby landed a huge three-year, $106.5 million contract extension with the Raiders, Harden even publicly congratulated the four-time Pro Bowler.
Las Vegas Raiders star sends ex-NBA MVP a big message

Both Crosby and Harden are now in offseason mode. Harden and the Clippers saw their 2024-25 NBA season end in a first-round series loss at the hands of Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets in the 2025 NBA Playoffs.
Nevertheless, Harden, who won the NBA MVP Award in 2018, proved that he’s still one of the best players in the league today by earning his 11th All-Star honor and eighth All-NBA Team selection in the 2024-25 campaign, where he averaged 22.8 points, 8.7 assists and 5.8 rebounds while posting a 50.1 effective field goal percentage.
“Congrats Family. 💎 @JHarden13,” Crosby wrote as a caption for a repost of the Clippers’ post congratulating Harden for another great individual season in the league.
As for Crosby, he is coming off a 7.5-sack 2024 season with the Raiders, who are looking to make noise in 2025 after going just 4-13.
