Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby has been mentioned in trade rumors this offseason. Many NFL teams are needy for a pass rusher.
He had his season cut short last season because of injury. Crosby is one of the best pass rushers in the NFL. The Raiders can’t afford to lose him this offseason.
Las Vegas Raiders Sign Maxx Crosby To Massive Contract Extension
It appears as if Crosby is not going to be going anywhere for the time being. According to Adam Schefter, he reported on his Twitter page on Wednesday:
“Las Vegas Raiders are signing Pro Bowl DE Maxx Crosby to a three-year, $106.5 million extension that includes $91.5 guaranteed, making him the highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history, per sources. For the third time in four years, the Raiders are addressing the contract of their cornerstone player, this time cementing his relationship with the Raiders for the foreseeable future. With Crosby getting this deal, it will be interesting to see how it will affect the pass rusher market. Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns could be getting dealt this offseason. If he is not dealt, Garrett may ask for that kind of money.
As for Aidan Hutchinson of the Detroit Lions, he will be getting a contract extension in the future. It will be interesting to see what the Raiders will do next after this Crosby news.

This Crosby contract is also going to affect Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys. Parsons will be a free agent after next season and Dallas will need to decide if they are going to pay him or not. Also last season, Maxx Crosby with the Las Vegas Raiders recorded 45 tackles, 7.5 sacks, and five pass deflections.
