The Las Vegas Raiders completed mandatory minicamp three and a half weeks ago on Thursday, June 13. They are in the middle of a month’s break and have two more weeks off until they report to training camp. Rookies report to camp on Sunday, July 21, while veterans report on Tuesday, July 23.
At least five players, including their tackle, didn’t practice during minicamp.

Kolton Miller suffered a shoulder injury in Week 9 that caused him to miss Weeks 10 and 11. Miller returned in Week 12 but reinjured his shoulder and missed Weeks 14 and 15. He would play limited reps in Weeks 16 and 17, playing three snaps in Week 16 and 34 in 17. Finally, he started in the season finale and played every snap.
Miller underwent shoulder surgery during the offseason and has missed every workout, including voluntary OTAs and mandatory minicamp. The Raiders received an encouraging injury update.

According to Vic Tafur of The Athletic, Kolton Miller is progressing nicely and should be ready for Week 1.
“Miller just had a camp for kids in Roseville, Calif., last weekend, and all indications are that he is making good progress in his rehab. Andrus Peat was at left tackle during minicamp in Miller’s place, but I don’t sense any concern that Miller won’t be ready for next season.”
Who filled in for Kolton Miller?

Offseason acquisition Andrus Peat filled in for Miller throughout OTAs and mandatory minicamp and received the lion’s share of first-team reps in his stead. If Miller misses some time during training camp, don’t be surprised if he keeps getting first-team reps.
Peat played guard for most of his career with the Saints but filled in at left tackle last season, starting the last 11 games.
If Miller missed some time during the regular season, expect Peat to be his replacement at LT, or if Jackson Powers-Johnson misses some time or struggles at LG, Peat could also fill in for him.
