The Las Vegas Raiders are in need of a bounce-back win against the Cleveland Browns in week four, but that may be hard to come by.
The Raiders are going to be trying to beat the Browns without key players on both sides of the ball.
The top two players on the Las Vegas Raiders were ruled out
Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce ruled wide receiver Davante Adams and edge rusher Maxx Crosby out for week four when he addressed the media Friday.
Crosby, like fellow game-wrecker Micah Parsons on the Dallas Cowboys, is dealing with a high-ankle sprain. He didn’t practice on Wednesday or Thursday, so his status comes as less of a surprise.
Adams on the other hand had a hamstring injury occur during practice Thursday. The future of Adams’ injury is unknown, even to Pierce even if Pierce seems hopeful that the injury isn’t too serious as he explained in an article from Pro Football Talk.
“No, I don’t know [a timeline], I just know he’s out for this week,” Pierce said. “But he’s kind of like Maxx. You’ve got to give those guys week-to-week — really, day-to-day. You never know how they respond. They’ve been doing this a long time in their career. But I just know for this week, he’ll be out.”
Other Raiders that will not be playing in week four include tackle Thayer Munford, linebacker Divine Deablo, tight end Michael Mayer and cornerback Decamerion Richardson. Raiders fans took to social media to express their concern with the upcoming game upon hearing the devastating injury news.
