Las Vegas Raiders: Starter Posts Cryptic Message Amid Benching

As previously discussed on Gridiron Heroics, the Las Vegas Raiders surprisingly made Germaine Pratt inactive for Week 5 against the Indianapolis Colts, despite not being listed on the injury report. The defense relied on Devin White, Elandon Roberts, and Jamal Adams as part of their linebacker rotation. The Colts’ offense manhandled the Raiders’ defense, scoring 40 points, gaining 317 total yards, and converting on 8 of 10 third-down attempts.

During Sunday’s postgame press conference, Pete Carroll gave a very weak explanation for why Germaine Pratt did not travel with the team or play. He said, “We just decided to go with the other guys.” Carroll’s vague answer suggests there might be something going on behind the scenes, with Pratt’s days in Las Vegas appearing numbered.
