“Worst QB in the NFL”: Las Vegas Raiders Fans Clown 2x-Pro Bowler

The Las Vegas Raiders traveled to Lucas Oil Stadium to play against the Indianapolis Colts, losing 40-6 and dropping to 1-4 on the season. The game was never close, with the Colts jumping out to a commanding 20-3 lead at halftime. The Raiders’ offense never established a consistent rhythm throughout the game, totaling 296 yards across 65 plays with a 33:25 time of possession, averaging 4.6 yards per play, going 8 of 14 on third downs, 1 of 2 on fourth downs, and committing two turnovers.

Their quarterback was the culprit for the two turnovers.

Geno Smith had a rough outing against the Indinapolis Colts, completing 25 out of 36 pass attempts for 228 yards, two interceptions, was sacked four times, and finished with a 63.2 passer rating. His first interception occurred on a tipped pass that was batted into the defender’s arms in the red zone. Meanwhile, Smith’s last interception was on a short pass where the defender jumped in front of the route.

Is it time to make a position change?

So far, the Geno Smith experiment in Las Vegas has not gone according to plan as the Raiders drop to 1-4. Through five games, the two-time Pro Bowler has completed 106 passes on 163 for 1,176 yards, six touchdowns, and nine interceptions, the most in the NFL. Many Raiders fans chimed in about Smith’s lackluster performance and want him benched.
