The Las Vegas Raiders didn’t have a great day on the field in their season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers, falling 23-10 on the road in their conference clash to start the 2024 campaign.
Turnovers ended up being the biggest difference for the Raiders, who lost two fumbles and threw an interception against the Chargers, who are looking to take a massive step forward this season under new head coach Jim Harbaugh.
The longtime rivals were reminded of the animosity between the two squads, when late in the fourth quarter, the teams came to massive blows following the Chargers scoring a touchdown that seemingly put the game out of reach. With less than four minutes to go, Las Vegas Raiders’ cornerback Jack Jones and Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer got into a grabbing and shoving match as fists could be seen getting thrown as more and more players came in and made the situation worse.
In the end, both players would be ejected from this game.
The rivalry continued between fans in the parking lot after the game, with a video that is now going viral, showing a few Raiders fans and a Chargers fan in an intense fistfight outside SoFi Stadium. A Las Vegas fan wearing a black jersey can be seen getting into it with the Los Angeles supporter before another person (wearing a white Raiders jersey) tried to stop them.

The guy in black proceeded to punch the other guy in white. The Chargers supporter came to help and hit the Raiders fan wearing black, who ended up on the ground after being mobbed by the two.
Dangerous situations seem to follow the Raiders and Chargers whenever they meet, but there was an especially unique situation that unfolded at Sofi Stadium that gained traction on social media for all the wrong reasons.
Las Vegas Raiders Fan Puts Daughter’s Life In Danger In Shocking Scene At Sofi Stadium
While fights between players — and even fans — have become commonplace when the two AFC west foes meet, there was a particularly shocking scene that unfolded at Sofi Stadium on Sunday that had people on social media questioning the parenting decisions of one Raiders’ fan.
While attending the game at the massive LA Stadium that hosts both the Rams and Chargers, a Las Vegas Raiders fan was observed dangling his daughter over the railings on one of the upper decks.
Reports came out that security was called as it was clear by the video that the child’s life was in danger. — and while the information surrounding the incident is unclear — there have been rumors the Raiders fan was drunk when he decided to make the shocking decision.

Once the photo found its way to the internet, everyone started calling the fan out for being so reckless with their own child.
“Are people really this stupid?! I can’t believe people would do this crap,” said one comment.
“Is anyone surprised ? I mean, we’re talking about Raider fans,” said another.
“I think child protection needs to be called,” a third added..
It’s clear that most social media users used the lone incident as an opportunity to take a shot at the entire Las Vegas Raiders fan base, which doesn’t have a great reputation amongst fans of other NFL teams.
“They’re the worst fans in the NFL, a few years ago when the Raiders played Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium one of the Raiders fans killed the Ravens fan in the stands,” another person added.
Thankfully it appears as if the child is safe and okay, which is what ultimately matters the most. Thankfully the incident didn’t turn into a tragedy.
