Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce spoke to the media on Friday. The Raiders will be heading on the road this weekend to face the Baltimore Ravens.
Las Vegas and Baltimore are both 0-1 to start the 2024 NFL season. The Raiders lost to the Los Angeles Chargers on the road last week.
Las Vegas Raiders Head Coach Antonio Pierce Offers Advice To Miami Dolphins Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa
When Pierce was talking to the media on Friday, one of the things he was asked was about the Dolphins quarterback after he took another hit to the head. Miami lost on Thursday night to the Buffalo Bills 31-10. This is what Antonio Pierce said to the media about what Tua Tagovailoa should do:
““I’ve never witnessed anything like what has happened to him three times. … Take care of your family.”
These are the correct words from the Raiders head coach. Tua Tagovailoa should not play another down in the NFL moving forward. This is an interesting sport and there is a reason why some people think that the NFL stands for not for long.

By no means a concussion expert, but Tua’s concussions have been some of the worst I can remember. The way his hands have seized up with at least two of them was awful. The third he could barely stand.

The Raiders head coach is right that he should retire and the rest of the fans agree. However, it would not be a surprise if Tua Tagovailoa decided to return to the field this season and not let his team down. For now, Skylar Thompson will be the starting quarterback and it will be interesting to see what happens. Antonio Pierce will not be the last head coach who will comment on this stuff.
