After a chaotic 2021 season, the 2022 Las Vegas Raiders look to be playoff contenders again. The 2022 Raiders look to improve themselves not just in the field; but also in the front office. After the offseason firing of Mike Mayock, the Raiders brings in a new GM, Dave Ziegler, and Josh McDaniels as head coach. Josh McDaniels has an unsuccessful history of being a head coach but will try and prove his doubters wrong this upcoming season.
The Raiders offensively will be guided by Quarterback Derek Carr with weapons on the receiving end, including Hunter Renfrow, Darren Waller, and old teammate and friend from Fresno State; whom the Raiders traded for this offseason, Davante Adams to join the offense. Alongside the receiver core in the offense running-back, Josh Jacobs brings in rushing yards and his value as an underrated running back for the Raiders.

The Raider’s defense in 2022 is also a sight to behold, with Maxx Crosby, a tremendous edge rusher being, helped with the addition of Chandler Jones. The Raider’s secondary with the breakout seasons of Nate Hobbs and Trevon Moehrig with veteran Rock Ya-Sin will reinforce the secondary for the defense.
The Raiders look to be strong this year by having a good Preseason by winning three out of four with the fourth game scheduled tomorrow against the Patriots. A strong preseason can bring confidence to the team for the season. In the end, the Raiders will need the coaching staff to stabilize the locker room with no drama after last season. Whether a coin flips, Daniel Carlson’s record-breaking walk wins, or the chaos last year, the Autumn Wind for the 2022 Las Vegas Raiders will be interesting and entertaining for all to see.
