“Lane Kiffin Will Build a Dynasty At LSU”: LSU Tigers Fans Have Delusional Reactions To Program Hiring Lane Kiffin As Next Head Coach

The LSU Tigers fired Brian Kelly as head coach during the middle of the 2025 college football season. Kelly did not finish his fourth season with the program, and he missed the college football playoffs in all of his years with the program.

This team has not won it all since the 2019 college football season with Ed Orgeron was the head coach and when Joe Burrow was the quarterback of this football team. LSU announced on Sunday that Lane Kiffin will be the next head coach of this football program and that he will be on a seven-year deal. It is going to be interesting to see how this is going to pan out for the Tigers.

LSU Tigers Fans Get Delusional About Hiring Of Lane Kiffin

There are a lot of fans who think that the Tigers are going to make the playoffs often and win a bunch of national titles under Kiffin. This is what some LSU fans had to say about the program hiring him as the next head coach:

To no surprise, there were some Kiffin trolls in the comments as well. If he does not get to the playoffs in his first four seasons with the LSU, it would come as a major surprise, and they would probably fire him anyways.

It would be interesting if Kiffin made a massive mistake leaving the Ole Miss football program. Pete Golding is the new Rebels head coach after this departure. With that being said, LSU is looking to get back to the college football playoffs next season under Kiffin and make noise. The Tigers will also be on the road next season against the Rebels and that could get very ugly.
