There’s been tons of controversy and discussion on Lamar Jackson not being at OTAs so far, but that is now done, as Jackson is now at OTAs
The Ravens posted a video on X titled “QBs!” with Jackson in attendance and in the video, ending his absence at OTAs.
Lamar Jackson also reportedly missed too many OTAs and missed out on a 750k bonus he could have received.
Mike Florio reports that Jackson’s contract includes a condition where he must participate in 80% of offseason workouts to earn the $750,000 bonus, excluding of course mandatory minicamp. He has reportedly already missed too many sessions.

John Harbaugh commented on Jackson’s prior absences saying that.
It’s this time of year. It’s a voluntary time. It’s really not something we comment on.
Jeff Zrebiec of the athletic said this about the situation and Harbaugh’s potential thoughts
surely can’t minimize the importance of players showing up for OTAs for a number of reasons, including what a poor message that would send to the Ravens’ accomplished veterans who have participated in most or all of the workouts, a group that includes Derrick Henry, Mark Andrews and Roquan Smith.”
Harbaugh is obviously not going to publicly criticize his franchise quarterback — and a two-time league MVP nonetheless — but he also didn’t go out of his way to dismiss Jackson’s absence. In a lot of ways, Harbaugh is in a tough spot.”

John Harbaugh has always had Lamar’s back
Back in 2018, John Harbaugh was almost fired, he stood up for Jackson in his rookie year and said “he was going down with Jackson at QB” according to Marlon Humphrey and RGIII.
“I haven’t been told anything.”
“If I’m getting fired, I’m gonna get fired with this dude (meaning Lamar Jackson)
Obviously coach John Harbaugh kept his word, After Flacco got injured hurt in a loss to Pittsburgh on Nov 4, Lamar Jackson took over as the starter following a bye week. Under Jackson, the Ravens ramped up their running game and went 3-1, the only loss in overtime last Sunday on the road against Patrick Mahomes and the powerful Kansas City Chiefs.
Lamar Jackson has gone on to win multiple MVPs as a Raven and Harbaugh has won coach of the year in 2019, they’ve yet to win a Super Bowl as a duo, but Harbaugh has one as Ravens coach, winning it with Joe Flacco vs his brother and the San Francisco 49ers.
