Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens are a perennial Super Bowl contender with him under center. The two-way superstar quarterback can be an absolute magic on the field every week, but for all of Jackson’s talents and incredible football abilities, Baltimore has yet to win a Super Bowl with him.
Perhaps a slight change could help unlock the full potential of the Ravens with Jackson, who’s thought of an off-the-field idea to get the team closer to each other, which hopefully would translate to success on the turf. That was touched on recently by Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers, though, that plan has yet to be set in motion since Jackson is not currently among those participating in Baltimore’s current OTA.
Via Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic:
Flowers said Jackson has already spoken to players about his desire to do more things as a group this season. With Jackson not in town, those bonding activities will have to wait.
“This year, he wants to do a lot more meetings,” Flowers said. “He wants to do a lot more team stuff. He wants to do a lot more personal stuff with us, just to get that team camaraderie on a good level.”
Lamar Jackson is not at the Ravens’ OTAs, but that’s okay

Although the two-time NFL MVP is not around in this week’s OTAs, there doesn’t seem to be anything concerning about it. As pointed out by Zrebiec, Jackson “has sporadically appeared at OTAs in recent years and doesn’t spend a whole lot of time around the facility during the voluntary stage of the offseason.”
Last season, the former Louisville Cardinals quarterback had 4,172 passing yards and 41 touchdowns with only four interceptions while also rushing for 915 yards and four touchdowns on 139 carries.
