NFL trade rumors are swirling around Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts. In the last four years, Pitts has been wearing a Falcons jersey, but the latest rumors suggest that he might part ways with the team.
Pitts is open to playing with the Falcons, and NFL analyst Jeremy Fowler thinks the franchise is open to giving him away. However, things will only move forward if they have a strong offer. Pitts is clear about what he wants: to remain in Atlanta. He’s not requested a trade, but there is no ruling out the possibility of the team trading him.
“Atlanta seems to be open to the possibility of trading Kyle Pitts at this point. They won’t force the issue, but as one source told me, if there’s a good enough offer, this will probably get done. And so, Pitts is not requesting a trade. I’m told he’s open to staying in Atlanta,” Jeremy Fowler said.
“It’s nothing of that matter. It’s just that he’s at least thought about the options. Because, you know, they haven’t had the best quarterback player over the years,” Fowler continued.
Kyle Pitts was selected as the fourth pick in the 2021 NFL draft. He’s had a great run with the team, including a Pro Bowl honor. All that in his rookie year. The last three years have not been great for the tight end, as he has witnessed a slump.

3 Teams Emerge As Early Targets For Kyle Pitts
Rumors are already blowing up as early landing spots have emerged for Pitts. If the Falcons part ways with the tight end, they will be relieved of his $10.878 million salary, something they could use to lure another player.

The New England Patriots are one of Pitt’s early targets. Teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars and Pittsburgh Steelers are also linked to the Falcons. While these are just initial rumors, the Falcons have not made a move yet.

Atlanta has several options when it comes to trading Kyle Pitts. His trade value could be low since his performance over the last couple of years has dipped. Trading Pitts would help the Falcons, but it might be hard for them to get the right offer. There’s also no guarantee that the Falcons will hold back from retaining Pitts on the team.
