The New England Patriots have struggled with the Miami Dolphins over the last several seasons. It was no different on Sunday afternoon for New England losing on the road 34-15. With the Dolphins winning, they improve to 5-6 on the season and the Patriots fall to 3-9 on the season.

This is the first season that Jerod Mayo is the head coach of this football team. Not a lot of fans are happy with him but a lot of the fans enjoy watching quarterback Drake Maye play as a rookie this season.

Some people feel like Robert Kraft should sell the New England Patriots and that is honestly funny. Kraft has been successful for a long time, but this may have been his first whiff by hiring Jerod Mayo as head coach during the offseason.

Face the Indianapolis Colts Next Week

Next week, the New England Patriots will face the Indianapolis Colts. It could be a winnable game for the Patriots. If they don’t win, they will be inching closer to another Top 5 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. It would be interesting to see which direction New England would go in if that was the case.

This season, the Colts are 5-7. Next week, it will be interesting to see if the New England Patriots are trying to win more games this season or if they are trying to tank for a better pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
