Nick Saban is one of the greatest coaches in the game has seen it all in the history of the game. The former Alabama head coach secured a total of seven national championships, one with LSU and the rest with the Crimson Tide, along with eleven SEC titles and numerous other achievements during his 28-year tenure as head coach.

Two years after his retirement, his name still surfaces from time to time when a new head coaching position becomes available, as recently seen with Penn State and LSU.
Saban is currently living his best retirement life, enjoying fun-filled boat rides with friends, celebrating birthdays with his wife, Miss Terry, and the family, all while also being involved in football with his gig on the College GameDay crew every Saturday.
Talking about his potential head coaching return, Hersbreit said:
“We gotta stop bringing up Nick Saban for all these jobs. He’s not going anywhere. My man’s enjoying his life. For 50 years, I’ve been in a hurry or I’m late to something. 50 years. Now, he’s got Mercedes-Benz dealerships and Ferrari dealerships. He’s got a boat, he’s golfing.”
“He’s not coaching,” Kirk said. Galloway added, “No, I can’t see him…You want to talk about someone happy?” Finally, Kirk concluded on the Nonstop podcast, “He’s the happiest he’s probably been in a long, long time. He and Ms. Terry.” Joey Galloway added.

LSU Interim AD Spills the Beans on Conversation With Nick Saban
Earlier this week, Paul Finebaum gave fans some hope for Saban’s potential LSU comeback, suggesting it might be a possibility, as his family is fond of Louisiana. If the Tigers offer him a cheque which is more than what he had at Alabama, which was around $11,000,000 a year, Saban might consider returning.
However, LSU’s interim AD, Verge Ausberry, cleared the air on the rumor during a 104.5 ESPN appearance and shared the truth about his recent conversation with the ex-Alabama head coach.
Ausberry said that the conversation with Saban was not due to anything special, as the two share a long-standing friendship, which is why they end up talking once every 2-3 weeks.
He also said that Saban wasn’t kidding when he said he won’t be coming back to coach football, partly because his wife, Miss Terry, won’t allow him to.
“Nick Saban and I have a standing conversation probably every two to three weeks,” Ausberry said. “We’re good friends, first of all—A person whom I admire a lot. And coach Saban was joking. No way he’s coming back to football, okay? Miss Terry’s not gonna let him.
“That’s not gonna happen. Let’s get that out of the way soon, because if he was and he was interested, I would go drive and pick him up right now and bring him back.”
