Georgia headed to Alabama last week and saw their perfect season end, losing in epic fashion against the Crimson Tide. This week, they faced another team from the Yellowhammer State, the Auburn Tigers.
Auburn has been struggling lately, but Georgia isn’t a team to take an opponent lightly, and the Bulldogs would come out on top at home 31-13 over the Tigers.
Kirby Smart Is Not Happy With His Fans
Georgia has one of the best fan bases in college football, but on Saturday, its head coach, Kirby Smart, called out the fans for a lack of effort.
After the game, Smart was interviewed and talked about how disappointed he was with the fans and the lack of effort they brought crowd noise-wise.
Kirby Smart challenged Georgia fans in his postgame interview with @DjShockley3 after the Dawgs 31-13 win over Auburn.

Smart has to be judging by what he saw last week at Alabama: how crazy their fanbase was, how much they impacted the game, and how much he wants it the same way with his fans this week.
Blaming the fans for a game you won comfortably is strange, but he’s not the first big-time coach to do it. A few years ago, Nick Saban blamed his fans for leaving the games early.
College football coaches love it when their fans get into it, which adds a huge factor to the game. Many college players can’t adapt to a crazy home-field advantage since they don’t play in one often, but it becomes a major advantage when the fans bring it.
Georgia will host Mississippi State next week, and hopefully, the fans will bring the energy so their head coach doesn’t get mad at them, even though it will be pretty hard since Mississippi State is one of the worst teams in the sport.
