Week 4 brought some exciting games with some heavyweight juggernauts going head-to-head. Although week 5 may not have the same firepower matchups, it does bring some unique matchups to keep your eye on. Here are three key NFL week 5 matchups.
Green Bay Packers vs New York Giants (London)
This is a matchup of two 3-1 teams. Although, both these teams are a wobbly 3-1. This game is for the Giants to showcase themselves as a threat in the NFC. The Giants wins have come against the Bears, Panthers, and Titans, so not exactly the cream of the crop.
The Packers clearly miss Davante Adams. Aaron Rodgers has yet to get good rapport with his young receiving core and has grown increasingly frustrated, although rookie Romeo Doubs has been the one to step up. Doubs has scored touchdowns in back-to-back weeks and has earned more plays.
The Packers have not looked as dominant as previous seasons, so this matchup will be a tale of can the Packers look like their former selves or are the Giants an NFC contender?

Dallas Cowboys vs Los Angeles Rams
Cooper Rush has been the talk of the NFL for the last few weeks. Now 4-0 as a starter, he has a tough test to go into the defending super bowl champions house. The Rams have not looked like that same team however. The Rams are now 2-2 with two bad losses on national TV.
Matthew Stafford has not looked like himself this season, throwing six interceptions in four games, while Rush has yet to throw an interception in the three games he has started this season.
The Cowboys defense has looked spectacular all season with Micah Parsons and Demarcus Lawrence dominating up front with Trevon Diggs locking up the other team’s best receiver.
Will the Rush magic continue? Or will the defending champions get back on track in a key NFC matchup?

Cincinnati Bengals vs Baltimore Ravens
Joe Burrow vs Lamar Jackson on Sunday Night Football is the game of the week. The Ravens realistically could be 4-0, blowing two second half double digit leads to the Dolphins and the Bills. Jackson has played at an MVP level so far this season scoring 13 total touchdowns.
Burrow has not been his usual self to start the season. His offensive line is still not protecting him and has turned over the ball too much. This could be a week to break out with the connection between him and Ja’marr Chase. The Ravens secondary has been leaky all season and could be exposed again by Chase and Tee Higgins.
An AFC North matchup on primetime will be the best matchup of week 5.
