The Kansas City Chiefs have the opportunity to reunite with a former hero following a roster move the Miami Dolphins made on Friday.
The Dolphins made a few roster moves on Friday, moving on from running back Pro Bowl running back Raheem Mostert and tight end Durham Smythe.
Former Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill seems set in Miami

The Chiefs and Dolphins have been intertwined since the trade for Tyreek Hill sent a star wide receiver to South Florida. Hill appeared unhappy with the Dolphins following a disappointing 2024.
However, the six-time All-Pro apologized for his comments during an appearance with the media during Super Bowl week, saying he intended to play with the Dolphins in 2025.
Hill’s teammate with the Dolphins, Kendall Fuller, helped the star wide receiver earn his first league championship in Super Bowl LIV. The 30-year-old cornerback intercepted a Jimmy Garoppolo fourth-quarter pass that sealed a Chiefs’ 31-20 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
The Miami Dolphins released Kendall Fuller

Fuller reunited with Hill in 2024 when he signed with the Dolphins. Per Miami’s website, the team released the veteran cornerback on Friday, a surprise after spending just one season with the team.
“Fuller started 11 games for the Dolphins after signing as an unrestricted free agent on March 18, 2024 He totaled 50 tackles (37 solo), seven passes defensed and one fumble recovery during the 2024 season.
Fuller has played nine seasons in the NFL after being drafted by Washington in the third round (84th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft from Virginia Tech. Fuller spent six total seasons with Washington (2016-17, 2020-23) and two with Kansas City (2018-19) where he won Super Bowl LIV during the 2019 season.”
Fuller could be a name to watch for the Chiefs in free agency. Kansas City could use help in the secondary, and the former Virginia Tech standout could take a cheap deal to help his former team return to the Super Bowl.
