The Kansas City Chiefs entered another marquee showdown on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills on the road. Buffalo controlled most of the game against Kansas City and came out on top by a final score of 28-21.

With the win for the Bills, they improve to 6-2 on the season and the Chiefs drop to 5-4 on the season. With Buffalo winning, they are currently the fifth seed in the AFC. Kansas City would not be in the playoffs right now if the season ended today. They wouldn’t have the necessary tiebreakers to make it to the playoffs right now. The Chiefs do not have an easy schedule moving forward. Are fans concerned that this football team will not make it to the playoffs this season?

There are a lot of Kansas City fans who are now concerned that this team may not make it to the playoffs after losing to the Bills. They don’t appear to be the same dominant team as they have been over the last several seasons. This is what some Chiefs fans had to say about losing to the Bills and potentially being in danger of missing the playoffs entirely this season on Twitter:

KC not making the playoffs. Book it.
The JAX loss is going too haunt them.
    Broncos might sweep KC.

Absolutely pathetic showing in all phases. Reid and game plan, Spags and game plan… all the way down. Atrocious showing. The team that played today will miss the playoffs 🤡🤡🤡🤡

The stars on this team aren’t hungry anymore. They all have won at the highest level multiple times and have all made millions upon millions. Just about everyone has regressed.

Mahomes 15/34 passing with a 57.2 rating. So much for having all of those receivers back. Likely first season Mahomes doesn’t make playoffs.

We wont make the playoffs. Dont think ill need to watch the rest of the year

The schedule may not favor the Chiefs making the playoffs this season. They have to play the Los Angeles Chargers again and Kansas City already lost to them. They lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars, which is proving large in the wild card race right now.

Kansas City has to play the Denver Broncos twice, the Indianapolis Colts, the Houston Texans, and also the Dallas Cowboys. There is a chance that they could finish 9-8 or 8-9 and be on the outside looking in this season.
