Karina Pasian has been in the headlines over the last couple of days, but for all the wrong reasons. The singer received huge backlash from NFL fans for her attire during the National Anthem performance at the Commanders vs. Dolphins game. The game took place in Spain, and the Grammy nominee was called out for her mini dress.

Pasian wore a black vintage Marc Jacobs dress with high stockings. The stocking had garters and it turns out that the league approved her attire. While she was certainly happy to wear it, some fans lashed out, calling in inappropriate.

Karina Pasian was taken by surprise after she receive negative reactions. The singer later apologized to fans who got offended. She stated that it wasn’t her intention, but she loved her outfit.

“They approved my outfit a few days before. It was all approved by the NFL. I’m really sorry if anyone felt offended by it, but it wasn’t my intention. My intention was to have a good time. I loved my outfit!” Karina Pasian said, via TMZ Sports.

After all the trolling and backlash, the singer ensured to take her stance on the situation. While she had a good time performing the National Anthem, social media was unkind to her.

Karina Pasian Thanked All The Artists And The NFL For The Wonderful Opportunity

Pasian went on to thank all those who worked with her on this special event. It was an unforgettable one in Spain. She thanked the league and tagged the stylists with whom she worked with.

“BTS!! ahhh i loooveeedddd my outfit!!!!” Pasian wrote, adding that she didn’t want to take it off. “i worked with my amazing stylists @soydeir & @adrianldasilva to bring my vision to life!!! they turned this beautiful vintage @marcjacobs dress into their own unique piece!!!”

She continued to express her gratitude for having the opportunity to work with several stars and the NFL.

“Thank you @nfl for an amazing event!!!!!” Pasian wrote on Instagram. “Floored with all the love I’ve been receiving. I’m so grateful!!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. It’s such an honor to represent my country in the place I now call home.”

Sadly for Karina Pasian, the wonderful memory came along with hate. However, in time, many fans will forget about the incident and move on.
