A lot of people were wondering if Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce would have proposed to Taylor Swift had they beaten the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl on Sunday night. Well, the proposal never happened anyway and the Eagles defeated the Chiefs by a final score of 40-22.

Kelce caught four passes for 39 yards receiving and zero touchdowns in the game, but he did not look like himself. It is going to be interesting to see what happens with him this offseason. There is a chance that the Kansas City Chiefs will make some changes.
Kansas City Chiefs Tight End Travis Kelce Praises Philadelphia Eagles After the Win

After the game, Kelce spoke to Harold R. Kuntz of FOX4 in Kansas City. The star tight end said:
“”Hats off to the Eagles, they got after us, all three phases.”
He was also asked what was the most shocking part of this game, Kelce added:
“That we haven’t played that bad all year.”
In the other two games they lost this season, it was a game that came down to the fourth quarter against the Buffalo Bills on the road in the regular season. Also, they were blown out against the Denver Broncos during the final week of the regular season with Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and other star players rested when they had the number one seed already locked up.
Fans React To Statement

They absolutely played that bad all year, that team had no business in this game. That’s what happens when you don’t win the games off you’re talent to get you there…

It’s not that they played bad. A team finally exposed them for being a bad team.

I was shocked too. Both teams are great though. Congratulation to the Eagles and the Chiefs have nothing to be ashamed of. They are a great team also.

Nah it’s that the refs did let them play that bad all year. Wasn’t an off game, that’s what that team actually was.

Well, no matter how the fans look at it, it is going to be an interesting offseason in the NFL for sure. With Kelce being 35 years old, is he going to finally retire from the NFL? That will be one of the biggest storylines for this franchise this offseason.
