The Kansas City Chiefs improved to a 13-1 record on Sunday after taking down the Cleveland Browns. While the defense looked dominant, the offense still struggled against a bottom-tier Browns defense. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was injured in the fourth quarter, causing him to miss the rest of the game. Mahomes was seen getting carted out of the locker room postgame.
Patrick Mahomes Injury
The star quarterback suffered an ankle injury after taking a brutal hit in the pocket by a Cleveland defender. Mahomes then limped off the field in pain and, according to head coach Andy Reid, tried coming back into the game despite the injury.

Reid told the media that the ankle was not broken, and it seemed like a bad sprain that would be monitored week-to-week. While Mahomes says that he will be good to play next week against the Houston Texans, his status for now remains in question.
