The Kansas City Chiefs need to be smart enough during the upcoming NFL draft to bring in the right players for their squad to win the next Super Bowl, according to their defensive end Felix Anudike-Uzomah.
Felix appeared on the ‘Up & Adams Show’ this Thursday to speak out on his team’s needs and what he thinks they should do in the upcoming draft. Anudike-Uzomah has been playing for the Kansas City Chiefs since 2023 and was selected by the team as the 31st pick in the very first round of the NFL draft. Before that, the defensive end played college football for the Kansas State Wildcats from 2020 to 2022.
“I know that we lost Tershawn Wharton. He’s a great guy, very good competitor, so it’s going to be hard to fit him back in. But, I mean, I guess I did tackle, probably we can pick up, learn under Chris Jones, a phenomenal tackle and then, and I really don’t know what the offensive side, but I know it’ll it’ll be good to have another defensive tackle.” Felix Anudike-Uzomah said on the ‘Up & Adams Show’ on Thursday.

The Kansas City Chiefs finished first in the AFC West in the 2024 NFL season, winning 15 games and losing two. In that season, Uzomah managed 16 solo tackles in total with 2.5 sacks. The Chiefs managed to make it to the Super Bowl and faced the Philadelphia Eagles, but eventually lost the game with an embarrassing 40-22.

Kansas City Chiefs Might Bring Back ‘Cheetah’ For Next Season
Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs are showing an interest in bringing back Tyreek Hill, aka Cheetah, to their squad for the next NFL season. Hill started off his NFL career with the Chiefs, playing for the team from 2016 to 2021 and then being traded to the Miami Dolphins.

It looks like the Chiefs really need Hill’s wide receiving services, more than he needs them. Tyreek Hill is one of Miami’s strongest players right now, even though their other performers are putting up sub-par plays. In the 2024 NFL season, Hill managed 81 receptions for the team for 959 yards, scoring six touchdowns for the team.

Still, the Kansas City Chiefs would need to move many things around in order to bring Tyreek Hill to their squad again. Hill has a contract with the Dolphins until 2026, and the team will need to show plenty of green if they want the wide receiver to break this agreement and play for them instead.
