The Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs made a couple of roster moves before their first practice of the playoffs. The Chiefs are getting ready to play the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. The Chiefs, who delivered terrible news on wide receiver Mecole Hardman Tuesday, announced they added depth to the position on the practice squad.
According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Chiefs signed wide receiver Jerrion Ealy to the practice squad. To make room for Ealy, the Chiefs released defensive tackle Daniel Wise.

Ealy is an undrafted rookie free agent out of Ole Miss. He was signed by the Chiefs last offseason. Ealy was named to the second-team All-SEC three times at Ole Miss. Ealy was suspended for six games for violating an NFL PED policy.
Ealy was signed to the practice squad in August; he was waived on January 12th. But it didn’t take long before the Chiefs requested his services again. We’ll see how the Chiefs intend to utilize him for the playoffs. One would imagine they chose Ealy over Wise, who appeared in 11 regular season games (one was a start) with the Chiefs this season, for a reason.
