The girlfriend of North Carolina head coach Bill Belichick just turned a cheerleading coach’s joke into her own personal brand.

Jordon Hudson showed up to a training session at Cheer Extreme Raleigh without proper cheer shoes. Cheerleading coach Kris Murray didn’t let it go unnoticed.
His absolute one-liner inspired the 24-year-old to create a self-given, sneaker-inspired moniker that’s now making the rounds on social media.
Coach Murray Turns Bill Belichick’s GF Jordon Hudson’s Moment into Absolute Fun
On Monday, the 24-year-old joined a training session at Cheer Extreme Raleigh alongside cheerleading coach Kris Murray and other athletes. Hudson performed flips and aerial stunts while wearing Air Jordan sneakers instead of traditional cheer shoes.
Coach Murray shared the clip on Instagram with a caption that started the fun now rolling on fans’ news feeds. “When you don’t have cheer shoes…. Just wear some J’s,” Murray wrote, shouting out Hudson and the team for their hard work during the session.

Hudson replied back with her own playful hashtag in the comments. She coined the phrase “AirJordOn?” which blended her name with the iconic sneaker brand. Murray called it a clever move, and Hudson later admitted she was still laughing about the wordplay.

The special video came just days after the Tar Heels ended a four-game losing streak with a 27-10 win over Syracuse Orange on October 31. It improved their record to 3-5 and kept their hopes for bowl eligibility alive with four games left in the regular season. Maybe, she distanced herself from UNC due to that practice.
Hudson used to cheer at Bridgewater State University, winning a national title in 2021. Three years later, she also participated in the world championships. That athletic foundation is now carrying her into new territory.
Jordon Hudson Shines Beyond the Mat
Apart from competitive cheerleading Hudson has ventured into modeling and pageantry. A few months ago, Hudson posted the news on Instagram, accompanied by two photos wearing a dress with a sash and crown, expressing her excitement. This marked her second attempt for the crown, after finishing as first runner-up in the 2024 competition.
“Happy International Pageant Day,” she captioned. “I couldn’t think of a better day to share with the world that I will be competing for Miss Maine USA 2025; representing my hometown, Hancock.”

Hudson has maintained an active presence on social media since her relationship with Belichick became public. The couple was first photographed together in the summer of 2024, though they later revealed they had been dating since 2022.
Whether she’s performing flips in sneakers or preparing for a pageant, Hudson appears determined to follow her own path while living in the spotlight.
