Josh Metellus, Minnesota Vikings safety, was recently issued a warning card at the recent playoffs between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Metellus, who attended the Game 3 matchup between the two, posted a picture of himself holding a warning card, which states that his comments/gestures were in violation of the NBA Fan Code of Conduct. It is not exactly clear as to what comments or gestures Metellus was issued a warning for.

In the on-going series between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Oklahoma City Thunder, the former won with an impressive 143-101. Currently, the Timberwolves have won one, while the OKC have won two to lead the series as of now.

In Game 3, the Minnesota Timberwolves were led on the scoreboard by Anthony Edwards who chalked up 30 points for the team, grabbing nine rebounds, while assisting six times. Julius Randle added another 24 points for the team, along with four boards and a trio of helpers. Terrence Shannon Jr. added 15 more points, while Nickeil Alexander-Walker contributed 12 points.

“Energy is a hell of a drug” Josh Metellus captioned the Instagram post, showing the warning card, while adding two laughing-with-tears emojis.

Josh Metellus, has been playing with the Minnesota Vikings since 2020 after being selected as the 205th pick in the sixth round of the NFL draft. Before joining the Vikings in the NFL, Metellus played college football for the Michigan Wolverines. In the previous NFL season, Metellus managed a total of 63 solo tackles with a pair of interceptions.

Josh Metellus And Vikings To Meet Bears In Season Opener

In other news, Josh Metellus and the rest of the Minnesota Vikings are scheduled to lock horns with the Chicago Bears for the opening game of the NFL season. Before the opener, the Vikings will be warming up with three preseason games against the Houston Texans, the New England Patriots and the Tennessee Titans.

The Minnesota Vikings will be hoping to perform better in the upcoming NFL season when compared to the last season. Last year, the Vikings finished second in the NFC North with 14 wins and a trio of helpers, one spot below the Detroit Lions. The Vikings earned their entry to the Wild Card round to meet the Los Angeles Rams, but lost miserably 27-9. With their well-calculated off-season moves, the Vikings will try to do better in this season.
