This past weekend, Tennessee knocked off one of its biggest rivals, Alabama, in Neyland Stadium. If you know anything about SEC football, it has some of the loudest stadiums in the sport.
Two of the loudest stadiums in college football come from the south, with Tiger Stadium down in Baton Rouge, where LSU plays, and then Neyland, home of the Volunteers.
Neyland is rocking every Saturday, and this past weekend, it was one of the loudest the stadium has ever gotten.
Usually, when Alabama loses, there is always an excuse for their loss, and former Crimson Tide quarterback A. J. McCarron took to social media and stated they 100% pump noise into Neyland.
Pumping noise into the stadium is illegal and a form of cheating, and the Volunteers’ head coach responded to the claim that their program is doing illegal things behind the scenes.

Heupel stated,” Neyland doesn’t need anything fake piped into the stadium for it to be the loudest place in America. Hopefully, our fans take that personally.”

The Tennessee head coach is 100% right that Neyland doesn’t need sound pumped into the stadium to make it so loud. The Volunteers have one of the best fanbases in college football and are so passionate they make a lot of noise.
Tennessee is not pumping noise into the stadium, and it was just false claims made by mad former Alabama players and fans who are upset they have lost two out of the last three years to Tennessee, both coming at Neyland.

Wow….. now that’s funny! Pumping noise into the stadium…..
I guess you just gotta live here to understand how dedicated the Tennesse Vols fans are. Before I moved here 30yrs ago, I was warned! I was told that everything stops for the games! They were not joking, what they meant is the Vols fans are diehard, never let up fans and followers.
I love it! I was never a huge football fan until I came here!
I’ve been to Neyland stadium many times and when TN is on defense you have to yell to speak to fans sitting next to you. Alabama fans have always been sore losers and have to blame something or someone for the loss instead of admitting to the fact that they just down right got beat. Pitiful but true
