Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills quarterback, was recently asked if he would be open to playing flag football for the USA in the next Olympics. Surprisingly to everyone present, the talented quarterback replied in the affirmative. At the same time, he admitted that he would not be happy if his entry into the team meant that others should leave.
Many NFL players, like Josh Allen, have been asked this very same question, on whether they would like to play Flag Football for the United States in the upcoming Olympics. This comes after the league recently gave the green flag on NFL players playing representing the country for flag football at an Olympics level.
“I’m not going to disrespect the guys that are playing flag football right now, but if there was an opportunity for me to try, I would absolutely love to. I’ve always wanted to compete for my country. Every time the Olympics are on, I’m tuned into the screen. But I think there’s really no greater honor to do that. That’d be really cool. But I guess we’ll find out.” Josh Allen, quarterback for the Buffalo Bills said to press reporters on Tuesday.

Josh Allen’s response to the question was definitely well-received by NFL and sports fans alike, especially since Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes turned down the offer when he was asked the same question a couple of weeks back. Mahomes was criticized by sports for this who felt that he was not patriotic enough to the country.

Josh Allen’s Thoughts On Marriage Get Mixed Reactions
In other news, Josh Allen was asked about his marriage to Hailee Steinfeld, after the couple completed their nuptials on the last day of May this year. Allen brimmed positively to the question, responding that his wife, Steinfeld, simply makes “everything easier”.

While the newly married Allen seems quite happy with his marriage to the ‘Sinners’ actress, many fans showed their unhappiness in the comments section. The main theme in the depressed part of the comments section followed the fact that more than half of marriages end in a divorce.

Some fans even remarked that the Buffalo Bills quarterback will be singing a different tune about his marriage to Steinfeld five years down the line. Another set of fans found it difficult to digest when Allen mentioned that he had married his best friend.
