Jonathan Owens and his wife, Simone Biles, had a fun weekend watching the MLB’s Chicago Cubs take on the Chicago White Sox at Wrigley Field. Biles posted a picture of the game on her Instagram, much to the delight of her fans and followers.
Owens, a safety for the NFL’s Chicago Bears, met Simone Biles, an Olympic gymnast, on Raya back in 2020. The pair immediately hit it off and got engaged in 2022 on Valentine’s Day. The following year, the pair got married in a court-wedding in Houston and then had a much larger celebration with family and friends in Mexico. In this NFL offseason, Biles and Owens have been busy traveling to numerous countries and now seem to have settled in Chicago.

While Simone Biles continues to enjoy Chicago-life, her husband, Jonathan Owens will be busy gearing up for another NFL season with the Chicago Bears. Owens has been playing for the Bears since the previous season and before that played a season for the Green Bay Packers. Owens’ NFL career in fact started with the Arizona Cardinals and prior to the league, the safety played college football for the Missouri Western Griffons.
Owens and the rest of the Chicago Bears will definitely keep their fingers crossed that they have a better season this year when compared to last year. In the 2024 NFL season, the Bears finished at the bottom of the NFC North after winning five games and losing 12. Chicago played their very last game of the season against the Green Bay Packers, winning 24-22. However, the win was too late and the Bears were chucked from the tournament.
Jonathan Owens Met Kids Undergoing Chemo At Hospital Last Week
Last week, Jonathan Owens posted a few pictures on his Instagram after meeting children undergoing chemotherapy at a children’s hospital. Owens could be seen spending time with the kids, gifting them teddy bears and even clicking selfies with them. The Chicago Bears safety also gifted the children a Bears cap and an autographed poster of himself.
It was definitely a rare sight to see Owens show a softer side of himself on social media, and fans of the safety were delighted in the comments section. The NFL player also runs a charity organization called the Jonathan Owens Foundation for students to explore new opportunities.
