Johnny Manziel, former Cleveland Browns quarterback, recently took multiple jabs at the team during his latest appearance on the ‘Impaulsive’ podcast with Logan Paul. Manziel, who played for the Browns from 2014 to 2015, highlighted that his time with the team was definitely not great and that he suffered from his mental health issues too much because of the Browns.

Manziel was signed by the Browns in the very first round of the draft after the quarterback showed plenty of promise during his time with the Texas A&M Aggies. However, Manziel’s career started declining as soon as it started with the team. After several scandals and controversies surrounding him, which even included substance abuse, the talented star was let go by the team in 2016.
“F**k, man, I hated Cleveland so much, and I know that’s going to be tough to hear. That place aided to my depression for sure.” Johnny Manziel spoke about his time with the Cleveland Browns in his appearance on the ‘Impaulsive’ podcast with Logan Paul.

After his time with the Cleveland Browns, Johnny Manziel played for a couple of Canadian football teams for a brief period. However, even that career did not work for Manziel who next tried for an AAF team based out of Memphis. Manziel’s story is indeed sad with the Heisman Trophy winner hardly ever making a dent in his NFL career.
Johnny Manziel Spoke About His Mental Health Issues In ‘Untold’ Docuseries
This is of course, not the first time that Johnny Manziel has spoken out about his detest for the Cleveland Browns and how much he blames the team for his mental health struggles. Manziel also spilled plenty about the Browns in the ‘Untold’ docuseries on Netflix.
“And I would look out those windows every day, and I just felt empty. I went from one fishbowl city to another, and I wanted nothing to do with football. I wanted nothing to do with stepping on that field. And I had bigger issues in my life than being able to go out and play free-spirited, flowing football.” Johnny Manziel spoke about his struggles with the Browns in Netflix’s ‘Untold’ series.

In the same docuseries, Johnny Manziel also hinted that he might have done better as a football player and a person in general if he had continued to play for the Texas A&M Aggies instead of becoming a professional football player.
