“John Mara Simply Does Not Care About Winning”: New York Giants Fans Livid With Owner John Mara Over Latest Head Coaching Search Reports

The New York Giants have been a dysfunctional organization ever since winning the Super Bowl in 2011. The Giants have only been to the playoffs twice since then and have been one of the worst teams in the NFL.

New York has had constant turnover with general managers, head coaches, and there has been a common dominator in all of this. Owner John Mara has made horrible football decisions, and he continues to meddle in day-to-day football operations. Mara and others in the ownership group are going to help general manager Joe Schoen with the next head coach search. This franchise never learns, and ownership is also responsible for firing Brian Daboll. Giants fans continue to feel no hope for this organization moving forward.

There are many Giants fans who are not happy with Mara over the latest reports about the head coaching search. New York fans are afraid that they are going to hire somebody who is familiar with ownership rather than trying something new. This fanbase believes this team operates like a family business and a country club rather than an actual football organization.

This is what Giants fans had to say on Twitter about Mara:

The Giants during this stretch is just as bad as they were in the 1970s. New York needs to find a way to gets it glory days back. If this team finishes with a 2-15 record this season, there is no way that Mara should keep Schoen around. If he does, then Mara should sell the team. The Giants may not be relevant again until he sells the team.
