Son Of Father That Died While John Elway Was Driving Golf Cart Releases Huge Statement (Report)

In an emotional tribute to his late father, Jackson Sperbeck, son of John Elway’s late agent Jeff Sperbeck, has broken his silence on the death of his father:
Sperbeck was a close friend of Elway’s who later became his business partner. Their longstanding relationship began when he became the Hall of Famer’s rep in the early 1990s.
Elway was the one driving the golf cart from which Sperbeck fell and hit his head last month, which resulted in his death. The Riverside County Sheriff’s office has relayed the coroner’s findings, telling TMZ that no foul play was suspected.
The businessman left three kids behind, Jackson, Carly, and Sam, who have been forced to come to terms with his absence following the tragic incident.
Jackson took to Instagram over the weekend to post a tribute to his father, sharing several family photos, including from his youth.
“Your footsteps gave me direction,” he wrote in the caption. “I’ll walk the rest with purpose. I love you dad.”

John Elway and Jeff Sperbeck were leaving an event close to the former’s residence in La Quinta, California, on April 26 when Sperbeck fell off the cart and suffered a serious head injury. Jeff is said to have called 911.
Elway’s wife, Paige, and Sperbeck’s wife, Cori, were both present.
According to witnesses, Cori could not be consoled at the time.
Police subsequently opened up an investigation into the death, but have since determined that nothing suspicious transpired.
“There are no words to truly express the profound sadness I feel with the sudden loss of someone who has meant so much to me,” the former NFL quarterback said in a statement.
