The Cincinnati Bengals are headed back to the AFC Championship Game.
Joe Burrow and the Bengals dominated Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills wire-to-wire en route to a 27-10 victory in snowy Buffalo, New York. With the win, Burrow and co. will head to the AFC title game for the second consecutive season, where they’ll face a less than 100% Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs on the road, much-like they did last season.
Post-Game Comments
Bengals QB Joe Burrow told CBS’ Tracy Wolfson that ticket sites should be refunding Bills and Chiefs fans their pre-sold AFC Championship Game tickets. Tickets to a potential showdown between the Bills and Chiefs were sold in advance due to the game being scheduled to take place in Atlanta, Georgia following the NFL’s updated tie-breaker rules following the Damar Hamlin situation that occurred during the Bengals and Bills week 17 game.

Burrow would then delve into the game itself and noted that the game went just as they had hoped, dominance from start to finish.

Game Breakdown
Although the Bills were six point favorites by most oddsmakers, it was actually the Bengals that led from the get-go and never looked back. A six play, 79-yard drive was capped off by a 28-yard TD toss from Burrow to his former LSU teammate Ja’Marr Chase to put Cincy in front 7-0 early. The Bengals defense would force Josh Allen and co. to a quick three-and-out, which allowed Burrow and the offense to go right back to work and after a 10 play, 72-yard drive, Burrow hooked up with Tight End Hayden Hurts on a beautiful double move for a 15-yard score to put the Bengals up 14-0 halfway through the first quarter. The Burrow to Hurst touchdown would end up being all Zac Taylor’s squad needed as the Bengals defense would hold the Bills’ all world offense to just 10-points.
