The Cincinnati Bengals will need to make some difficult decisions about their playing squad pretty soon. While quarterback Joe Burrow seems to be doing alright, the team will most likely cut out one receiver, between Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Chase and Higgins are currently out looking for new contracts, and it is questionable whether the Bengals will retain them both.
NFL analyst Mike Florio seems to agree on this and spoke out on the topic in the most recent episode of ‘Pro Football Talk’. Between the two, Florio seems to think that Higgins will be let go. However, Joe Burrow himself remarked on how important Higgins is for the team, and hopes that he gets to stick around for some more time.
“I’ve always believed they were going to keep Ja’Marr Chase and find another Tee Higgins and I think after the season they’ll get Ja’Marr Chase paid. But I don’t think they’re going to keep all three guys together. I don’t think you can afford to keep all three guys together,” Florio said on ‘Pro Football Talk’.
Currently, the Cincinnati Bengals are ranked third in the AFC North after winning five games and losing eight. In their previous matchup, the Bengals played the Dallas Cowboys and won the game with a final score of 27-20. This season, Cincinnati’s defense has been terrible and the only saving grace for the team was its offense.

Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow is in the news after his house in Ohio was broken into while he was playing against the Dallas Cowboys. While this news was difficult to bear in itself, rumors soon started spreading about a potential romantic relationship between Burrow and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, Olivia Ponton.
Ponton was the one who placed the 911 call after seeing a window broken in the quarterback’s home. The model told police officials that she is an employee of Burrows. However, this only fanned the rumors higher, as more and more reporters started circulating that the two are indeed dating.
Joe Burrow recently came out and spoke to the press about the burglary and the aftermath. Burrow expressed disappointment and frustration that his “privacy has been violated in more ways than one”. Burrow is generally known to be quite reserved about his personal life, and does not share much even on social media. The QB also did not comment on whether he is actually dating Olivia Ponton at the moment.
