Minnesota Vikings quarterback JJ McCarthy is about to be a father. McCarthy and his fiancée, Katya Kuropas, made a big personal announcement on Wednesday via social media to inform everyone that they are expecting to have a baby boy in September.
“The best surprises come when you least expect them. Our sweet baby boy is arriving in September and we couldn’t be happier🩵🍼, the shared post by McCarthy and Kuropas read.
It’s clearly a life-changing moment for McCarthy and Kuropas, who will be both busy in the offseason taking care of little McCarthy inside her mother’s tummy.
And since the baby is expected to come out in September, it’ll just come in time for the 2025 NFL season, with the former Michigan Wolverines star quarterback taking the QB1 role for the Vikings.
McCarthy missed the entire 2024 NFL season because of a torn meniscus injury, but should be ready to go come Week 1 of the upcoming season.
