Jim Kelly, retired Buffalo Bills quarterback, recently shared a heart-rending post, asking for prayers for his grandson, who is struggling with health complications. Kelly’s daughter, Erin, announced the birth of her first child with her husband, Parker Bean, last week. However, the good news seems to be quite short-lived as Jim Kelly shared a post on his Instagram on Saturday, requesting his followers to pray for ‘Baby Bean’.

While the post did not share the exact details of what the condition is, Jim Kelly’s post did bring out numerous comments from followers who expressed their sadness and prayers for ‘Baby Bean’.
“We need your prayers again. We never imagined we would be here in this place of heartbreak and suffering again. Please pray for our daughter Erin, her husband Parker, and their precious newborn baby boy. Pray that God would rescue, heal, and restore Baby Bean — in ways only He can,” Jim Kelly shared about his grandson, Baby Bean.

Jim Kelly’s family as a whole also shared an official statement about Erin Kelly’s son, sharing that ‘unexpected medical conditions’ have come up. However, the statement did not share any other details about the baby’s condition.

Jim Kelly has two children, Camryn Kelly and Erin Kelly. He also had a son, Hunter James Kelly who passed away when he was only eight years old after struggling with Krabbe disease. Both Jim Kelly’s daughters are both writers, and often share their devout Christian faith with their readers.
Jim Kelly Hosted Annual Football Camp A Few Days Ago
Meanwhile, Jim Kelly hosted a youth football camp about a week back and worked with more than 800 kids. This was the 37th annual edition of Kelly’s camp which is hosted at Highmark Stadium and trains kids from the ages of 8 to 13 years. The retired quarterback clearly still loves his sport and continues to build his young trainees up in not only football skills, but also in personality traits and character.
“Each and every year I look forward to my football camp. I am truly humbled to have over 800 kids participate. The Bills organization has been amazing, and we truly appreciate our relationship with them. The kids are thrilled to experience playing on the same field as the Buffalo Bills.” Jim Kelly shared before the camp started.

Jim Kelly also highlighted that he hoped that the kids build friendships with each other at the camp which will “last a lifetime”. Kelly has been working hard in the football camp for more than three decades now.
