    Jim Harbaugh NFL rumors around

Jim Harbaugh NFL rumors are turning into reports. This week, Harbaugh’s name was linked to the Carolina Panthers. An interesting choice, as Harbaugh, who coaches college football at Michigan, would replace Matt Rhule, who came out of the college ranks to coach the Panthers. But Harbaugh should be a significant improvement over Rhule. Harbaugh went to the Super Bowl in his previous stint in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers.

The rumors have Michigan Wolverines fans on edge. According to multiple reports, Harbaugh talked to the Panthers ownership about the head coaching job. The news came days after Michigan narrowly lost the College Football Playoff semifinal to TCU. It was Michigan’s second straight appearance in the CFP. Michigan has enjoyed success under Harbaugh. The Wolverines are nationally relevant and have won two straight over Ohio State.

    Wolverines fans take to Twitter

Michigan fans took to Twitter to react to the Jim Harbaugh NFL rumors. Here are the best takes from football and Michigan fans about Harbaugh possibly leaving the Wolverines.

This + Harbaugh has an agent makes me think of mgoblog theory MI and Harbaugh’s agent are negotiating a legit contract. And Harbaugh is advised not to firmly state anything https://t.co/g6sJjfhRqN

Harbaugh a few weeks ago: "I will be enthusiastically back at Michigan in 2023!"

Now: " I *think* I will be back.

I'm so fucking sick of this shit. I just wanna peacefully enjoy the offseason after a great season for once which I guess is too much to ask. https://t.co/loaDTD53fk

I wish this guy would just buy a plane ticket to Timbuktu and leave us be …

    Look, here’s the bottom line:

I love the University of Michigan.
I love the Michigan Football team.
The last two years have been wonderful.

I am probably also in the minority when I say I now love the Jim Harbaugh rumors from wherever
