Jim Harbaugh is one of the most interesting coaches in football. He gives out pretty good quotes when he is not cheating and stealing opposing teams’ signals. On Monday, he had another one that will make you shake your head.
Sunday afternoon, news broke that current Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore violated NCAA rules by deleting 52 text messages between him and Connor Stalions, one of the sign-stealing operation’s leaders.
Moore was the offensive coordinator when the cheating scandal started, and he probably had a great connection with the Stalions because he needed to know the opposing team’s defensive signals to know what offensive plays to call.
Moore took over the Michigan head coaching job this offseason when former head coach Jim Harbaugh left the sinking ship and headed back to the NFL, and now is the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers.
Jim Harbaugh Will Not Apologize For Cheating
Harbaugh was suspended by the Big Ten last season due to being part of the sign-stealing scandal and has never admitted to knowing anything about it, denied all allegations again on Monday.
Harbaugh stated” Today, I do not apologize. I did not participate, was not aware nor complicit in those said allegations. So for, it’s back to work and attacking with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind.”
Jim Harbaugh on reported NCAA notice of allegations for Michigan:
“Today, I do not apologize. I did not participate, was not aware nor complicit in those said allegations. So for, it’s back to work and attacking with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind.”

The former Michigan head coach knew what had happened in his program for the last three years. Every single head coach is a control freak. Harbaugh is trying to tell us that he knew nothing about his team illegally stealing signs when his offensive and defensive coordinator had contact with Stalions.
Harbaugh can play dumb as long as he wants. Stealing opposing teams’ signs might not have been his idea, but he knew it was happening and didn’t do anything to stop it.
