The New York Jets already traded away cornerback Sauce Gardner earlier in the day to the Indianapolis Colts. Another star player that was on the move for the Jets on Tuesday was defensive tackle Quinnen Williams.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, New York traded away defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to the Dallas Cowboys for a 2026 second-round pick, a 2027 first-round pick, and defensive tackle Mazi Smith. Williams will have one more year remaining on his contract after the 2026 NFL season.

Dallas has done a great job today of trading for defensive players and trying to fix its defense. They also acquired linebacker Logan Wilson from the Cincinnati Bengals earlier in the day. Williams this season with the Jets played in eight games. He is 27 years old.
Williams has recorded 32 tackles, one sack, and three forced fumbles. As for New York, they are loading up on first and second round draft picks in the 2026 and the 2027 NFL Draft as well.
