According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero:

The Jets fired Robert Saleh, per sources.

Super Bowl aspirations were high for the New York Jets heading into the 2024 NFL season. Aaron Rodgers, the future Pro Football Hall of Famer, had fully recovered from a torn Achilles that ended his 2023 season after just four snaps, their wide receiver room had been restocked, and their offensive line had been revamped in free agency and the draft.
