Jets fans are reeling from yet another brutal loss at a time when they can’t afford it. Through 10 games, New York has gone 3-7 and are far from playoff contention. The return of Aaron Rodgers immediately raised the expectations for this team to compete for a Super Bowl.
As Davante Adams acknowledges, the team currently sits in a precarious position.
However, it was a former wide receiver who had something to say about starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Jets: Ex-Teammate Lashes Out At Aaron Rodgers (Report)

As part of last Tuesday’s trade deadline, Mike Williams was dealt to the Steelers in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick in 2025 following a brief stint with Aaron Rodgers and the Jets:
Williams wasted no time making an impact with his new team, catching the game-winning 32-yard touchdown pass from Russell Wilson in a 28-27 victory. While Williams’ Steelers improved to 7-2, Rodgers’ Jets were crushed 31-6 by the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
On Monday, Mike Williams poked fun at Rodgers by using the hashtag #RedLine in an Instagram post to celebrate the Steelers’ win in Washington:

For those unfamiliar, the “red line” is a reference to a comment Rodgers had about Williams following the team’s Week 6 home loss to the Buffalo Bills. Here’s what Rodgers said at the time, per Christian Arnold of the New York Post:
“There’s two verticals, Allen [Lazard]’s down the seam, and Mike’s down the red line. So, I’m throwing a no look to the red line. When I peak my eyes back there Mike’s running an ‘in-breaker’…it’s gotta be down the red line.”

Here is a look at Williams’ stats so far this season:
